A Weekend in Delaware

The unique thing about the east coast is that you can find World War II Bunkers and watch towers.
Kind of eerie.  it also reminds of what our families went through back then. Watching and worrying.

Cape Henelopen - Bayside

The wind was fierce. There was a snow storm the day before.
As you can see it was not a day to be out on the water.

If you can do it. You should visit a beach during the winter, especially if its a state park. Since its too cold to sit in one spot, you can have an adventure and discover new places. Here I was on top of a platform that was made for watching hawks and native birds. I never knew this was here and I've been going to this beach for over 10 years. What a great view. Just wish the wind wasn't so strong.
Still it was worth it!
