Merry Christmas!

Christmas Spirit: I found it in the strangest way this year and not a minute too late! I finally was able to enjoy the moment when I was in the kitchen by myself cleaning the dishes. I stopped and listened to all the talking, laughing and enjoyment going on in the next room. I thought to myself that even though I'm not rich and could not give my children cars and tons of expensive junk, they still are enjoying what's most important - family and friends. That's when my heart was full and I was my happiest. 

My wish for everyone is that they can experience the joy and satisfaction of being content with who they are and what they can contribute to the ones around them.

Happy Thanksgiving!

I am thankful for my friends and family. It was a wonderful day with too much food and tons of fun and love to go around.

Sun rise this morning ~ yep it was another one of those days.

I love this time of year, it is so colorful, and the air is so crisp. Can't wait to go out for a walk today. I'm blowing off all my promises to be social today and I'm just going to be with me! Sitting here, writing in my new blog, feels like such an indulgence already. It's something that I'm just going to have to get used too [big smile]. The kids are getting older and I finally see that I can do things for me. For years I've been looking forward to the days where I can start work on projects that reflect my ideas. No more..."can you make this for me?" Alright, I know that will still happen, but I'm going to say "No!" more and this blog is going to be my journal of my new journey into this new phase in my life. I'm so excited. So off I go...
